Adecco is excited to actively recruit a talented CNC Machinist for a leading global client in Clifton Springs, NY. Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing solenoids, solenoid valves, sensors, flame arrestors, and more. They deliver engineered solutions to customers worldwide across industries like oil & gas, aerospace, defense, and beyond.

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play an essential role in setting up, inspecting, and operating a variety of equipment, including live-tool lathes, Swiss lathes, grinders, EDMs, mills, and machining centers. You'll be a key contributor to troubleshooting and improving processes during both setup and production. Salary range $75K-80K/year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC equipment with limited supervision, including new process prove-outs and adjustments for approved First Article Inspections

  • Perform full dimensional inspections, ensuring accuracy on lengths, diameters, radii, finishes, and all positional/geometry requirements

  • Operate equipment to meet production targets while maintaining high process capability

  • Troubleshoot and implement process improvements during setup and production

  • Collaborate with your team to achieve shared goals

  • Maintain routine upkeep of equipment

  • Utilize software tools to manage tooling inventory, review standards, collect SPC, and capture performance data

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of machining experience, including work with manual and CNC production equipment

  • 3 years of setup and production experience on CNC equipment

  • A degree or diploma in a related technical field is a plus

  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, with knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) being a significant advantage

  • Skilled in CNC setup and operation

  • Programming knowledge is a bonus

  • Solid experience with production tooling, including spindle and cutting tools

  • Expertise in inspection tools (micrometers, bore gages, height gages, etc.)

  • Experience with CMMs, vision systems, and other metrology equipment is a plus

  • Leadership experience is desirable
