Position Title: 2nd Shift Quality Inspector
Location: Within an hour's drive of the worksite
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM (First day starts at 12:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $25.00–$28.00 per hour
Overtime: Not required
PPE/Dress Code: Candidates must provide required PPE (e.g., steel-toe shoes)


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join a precision manufacturing team that produces aerospace engine parts and components. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using required gauging and measuring equipment

  • Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and operation sheets to ensure compliance with customer requirements

  • Utilize measurement tools including micrometers, borescopes, gages, and other inspection instruments

  • Operate CMM using PCDMIS (experience preferred)

  • Apply working knowledge of geometric tolerancing

  • Identify non-conforming parts and complete all associated documentation

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting preferred

  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing

  • Comfortable with various measuring and inspection tools

  • Able to multitask effectively in a high-production environment


Additional Information

  • This role may involve standing for long hours and lifting moderate loads

  • Reliable transportation is required (location may not be accessible by public transit)

  • Parking details and site accessibility will be reviewed during onboarding



Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
