Position Overview:

Adecco is currently hiring for an Accountant II in the Downtown Houston area. The Financial Operations Accountant will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial operations, particularly in the management of a high volume of payments and reconciliations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting key performance indicators (KPIs).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day financial operations including payment processing and account reconciliations.

  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments and financial records.

  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

  • Support internal and external audit processes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and compliance teams to meet business goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial operations or high-volume environments.

  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
