Adecco is assisting a local GRASS VALLEY, CA client in their search for a PART TIME Accounting Clerk who can Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling vendor invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. 

RESPONSIBILITIES for the Part Time Accounting Clerk as listed below but not limited to the following:

  • Check all vendor invoices and prepare them for processing

  • Create all direct sales registers

  • Create debit memos for returns

  • Check costing on all special order sales registers

  • Assist in specified areas of Accounts Receivable

  • Research vendor statements monthly

  • Payroll

  • Answer telephones

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for the Part Time Accounting Clerk:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, 1-3 years experience

  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Customer Service and sales

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position operates in an office environment which requires sitting and working at a computer workstation for extended periods.

  • Must possess the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay range is $25.00 - $28.00 an hour.  Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.  Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
