Adecco is partnering with a respected client in Alpharetta, GA, to find a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. In this crucial role, you'll join a dynamic team responsible for managing cash flow, vendor payments, and financial processes that ensure smooth operations. Your contributions will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers while driving efficiency in our accounts payable (AP) function.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices for accurate documentation before processing payments
Enter invoices and general ledger data promptly and accurately
Reconcile credit card statements and related transactions
Conduct weekly payment runs with precision
Support month-end closing procedures
Provide assistance to senior financial officers as required
Utilize NetSuite to optimize financial processes and transaction management
Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships through timely, accurate payments
Contribute to process improvements to streamline AP workflows
Uphold strict confidentiality and integrity in all financial reporting activities
Ensure compliance with both national and local financial regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in finance or accounting preferred
Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and Procure-to-Pay processes
Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and bookkeeping
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service
Experience with intercompany processes and the ability to manage complex workflows
Exceptional time management and attention to detail
Familiarity with NetSuite and other financial software platforms
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
