Adecco is partnering with a well-established client in Tacoma, WA to hire for a Customer Service Administrator. 

This role is full-time, temp-to-hire, and supports major operations in cargo services, transportation, and logistics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in logistics who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line customer service and support in a logistics and shipping environment

  • Coordinate vessel arrivals, monitor routes, and communicate delays to internal teams and port authorities

  • Review and verify shipping manifests for accuracy

  • Enter and maintain accurate records and data related to cargo and transportation

  • Support dispatch operations by assisting truck drivers with slip tickets and cargo documentation

  • Communicate with vessel captains, engineers, port teams, and external clients to ensure smooth cargo movement

  • Cross-train and support HR, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions as needed

  • Serve as a central communication hub for multiple stakeholders across port operations

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics (required)

  • Proven ability to coordinate shipments and manage cargo documentation

  • Strong data entry, administrative, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new aspects of port and business operations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
