Adecco is partnering with a well-established client in Tacoma, WA to hire for a Customer Service Administrator.
This role is full-time, temp-to-hire, and supports major operations in cargo services, transportation, and logistics. Key Responsibilities
Provide front-line customer service and support in a logistics and shipping environment
Coordinate vessel arrivals, monitor routes, and communicate delays to internal teams and port authorities
Review and verify shipping manifests for accuracy
Enter and maintain accurate records and data related to cargo and transportation
Support dispatch operations by assisting truck drivers with slip tickets and cargo documentation
Communicate with vessel captains, engineers, port teams, and external clients to ensure smooth cargo movement
Cross-train and support HR, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions as needed
Serve as a central communication hub for multiple stakeholders across port operations
What We're Looking For
1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics (required)
Proven ability to coordinate shipments and manage cargo documentation
Strong data entry, administrative, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Flexible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new aspects of port and business operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
