Assembler - 2nd shift
Job description
These are assembly positions, and the actual positions will vary. There are a multitude of things you could be doing on the lines. Most lines rotate, meaning that you might do one job for 2hrs and then something else later. PLEASE be flexible, this is how you learn other skills.
This is for first shift, and you must be flexible to work either ;
3PM-1:30PM
$ 15.30/hr.
Ensures raw materials are fed into the machine accurately to prevent issues.
Ensures safety, quality and manufacturing goals are met.
Ensures plant floor is clean and organized for a safe working environment.
Maintains standard production rates, low waste and meet customer requirements.
Performs routine inspections of equipment and quality checks.
Checks output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws and ensures highest quality.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent education and training
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Must possess strong attention to detail.
Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
Ability to use levels and tape measures to ensure accurate measurement of items being assembled.
Good understanding of quality control principles
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate.
Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure.
Able to work individually or in a team environment.
Must be able to effectively troubleshoot and identify issues.
Must work safely and identify all safety issues using the STOP, CALL, WAIT system until repairs are made.
Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
