Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Worthington, Ohio

Shift: First Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with potential for Saturday overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $18.40 to $19.20 per hour

 

Overview: Join one of our esteemed partner companies in Worthington, Ohio, as an Electrical Assembler. This first-shift role offers a stable work schedule with opportunities for overtime. We are looking for candidates with mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience to contribute to our dynamic team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire complex electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.

  • Wire panels, printed circuit boards, and cabinets.

  • Manage heavy components and sub-assemblies.

  • Perform various electronic and mechanical assembly tasks such as component layout, preparations, fastening cables, wiring, and soldering.

  • Operate tools and machinery, including wrenches, screwdrivers, soldering irons, wire strippers, cutters, terminal lug crimpers, and drills.

  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety, attendance, and breaks.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Four years of experience in a similar position.

  • Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.

  • Strong safety awareness.

  • Basic electronics knowledge.

  • Excellent mechanical skills.

  • Proficiency in reading and using various measuring devices:

    • Rulers (tenths, hundredths, fractions of an inch)

    • Micrometers (thousandths of an inch)

    • Calipers (thousandths of an inch)

  • Ability to read and apply work instructions and specification sheets to specific tasks.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing for sustained periods, and performing repetitive motions.

  • Proficiency in fine motor skills, including picking, pinching, typing, and handling.

  • Capability to perceive attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touch.

  • Adequate hearing and talking abilities to communicate effectively.

Pay Details: $18.80 per hour
