Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Technician – Shaft Measurement for a 6-month assignment. The successful candidate will support our engineering and quality teams by executing precise part measurement tasks using various machines and tools. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy and contributing to product validation and process improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Learn to operate various precision shaft measurement machines.

Understand and follow specific protocols for different measurement requests.

Execute part measurement tasks according to established procedures.

Review collected data to identify inconsistencies or measurement errors; troubleshoot as needed.

Accurately document all measurement results using a PC.

Upload measurement data and related documentation into the internal database.

Work safely with hand tools and powered machinery, including saws.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced, busy work environment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in engineering, machining, or quality control is a plus.

Basic computer literacy (experience with data entry and file management).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow protocols precisely and work independently once trained.

Comfortable working with mechanical tools and around shop equipment.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Experience:
-
Prior experience in a technical, manufacturing, or quality assurance setting is a plus.

Familiarity with measurement systems, metrology tools, or data analysis preferred but not required.
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
