Location: Borden Ave., Long Island City, NY
Salary: $112k - $120k+ based on experience, with bonuses and performance incentives

Hours: M-F, roughly 8am - 5pm.

We’re hiring an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to lead a busy fleet repair shop serving rideshare and taxi companies. This is your chance for a leadership role where your expertise, mentoring ability, and hands-on knowledge will truly make an impact.
About the Shop:
- High-volume fleet repair operation
- Work on gas, hybrid, and EV vehicles (no diesel)
- Mostly newer model vehicles
- Focus on preventative maintenance and general repairs with some more complex work
- Collaborative, fast-moving team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of automotive technicians
- Manage daily operations and workflow in the garage
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed (approximately 10% hands-on). Position would be 85-90% leadership (from the garage, not from an office) and 10% turning a wrench to lead by example.
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
- Improve shop efficiency and help techs grow in skill and confidence

Qualifications:
- MINIMUM 10 YEARS OF HANDS-ON AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR EXPERIENCE
- Proven ability to lead, teach, and inspire technicians of all levels. Someone with ACTUAL TEACHING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED… a leader who can HELP ALL LEVELS OF MECHANICS GROW AND IMPROVE THEIR CRAFT
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
- Fleet maintenance experience preferred, with knowledge of all types of passenger vehicles. (Not Diesel). Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles highly valued
