Band Machine Operator

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Milford, NH who is looking for additional Band Machine Operators on 1st shift. This is a temp to hire opportunity

Position: 

• Band Machine Operators

Pay Rate:

• $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm 

Job Summary:

Produce and assemble band components or subassemblies from various materials such as
metal or stainless steel for flexible rubber connectors by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operates Heim to cut metal or stainless steel to length.
• Operates power press to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal stock.
• Welds metal components together with spot welding equipment.
• Grinds parts using an abrasive disk.
• Positions parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, screws, clips, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. Works at bench as member of assembly group assembling one or two specific parts.
• Loads and unloads previously set-up machines such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot-welding machines and riveting machines.
• Performs daily and weekly inspections of equipment. Checks quality of product.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices at workstation and surrounding area

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is reqularly required to use hands or feet in the operation of machinery.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
