Job Posting: Collateral Operations Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Schedule: Full-time (M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM)

Work Arrangement: Onsite for training, then hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Assignment Duration: 5 Months

Pay Rate: $42.35/hr


Responsibilities

  • Perform diverse margin functions for security transactions.

  • Maintain accurate customer and security information for outstanding financing trades.

  • Make margin calls to customers by stated deadlines.

  • Enter margin trades and re-price existing trades.

  • Monitor the settlement of trades.

  • Track, report, and resolve trade/price discrepancies with customers, trading, and sales desks.

  • Collaborate frequently with Back Office/Middle Office Operations, Cash Management, Sales & Trading, Credit/Risk Management, and Capital Markets Documentation.

  • Ensure open communication with team members, especially regarding new issues or problems.

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel Skills

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Securities, including Repo and Collateral Management.

  • Understanding of relational databases and/or process flows.

  • Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Organizational Skills with a special emphasis on prioritizing responsibilities.

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to recognize unusual flows/triggers for collateral in agreements and new trade structures.

Pay Details: $42.35 to $24.35 per week
