We are seeking a Part Time Patient Care Assistant - PCA to join our client's team in Bloomfield, IN!
Mondays and Fridays 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
$16-$18 per hour (depending on experience)
-Mileage and gas are reimbursed .50 cents per mile.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of patient care experience.
- Active Driver’s License.
- Auto insurance.
- Must be able to clear a background check (background check scans entire record for lifetime).
- TB vaccination or the ability to be vaccinated.
Job Description
- Patient Care Assistants (PCA) will be primarily working with geriatric patients.
- PCA may need to travel with their patient to run errands (prescriptions, doctor’s appointments, etc.) travel is limited to a 10-mile radius from home.
- PCAs will be primarily out in the field, very rarely going to the office.
- Ensure clients receive their medication on time.
- Support clients who can’t move on their own.
- Help clients dress, bathe, eat, etc.
- Assist clients with physical therapy exercises.
- Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions.
- Help customers with their shopping.
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
- Provide emotional support.
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
