Position: CNC Machinist – Laser Swiss Technician (1st & 2nd Shift)

Pay Rate: $20–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Overview:
We’re currently seeking CNC Machinists – Laser Swiss Technicians to join our team in Suffield, CT. One of our current machinists is transitioning out, and we’re looking to backfill their 1st shift position and add a new 2nd shift machinist. These are long-term opportunities offering flexibility, competitive pay, and immediate interview availability.
Shifts Available:

1st Shift:
Flexible schedule, typically Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
(Option for 4 x 10-hour days is also available)

2nd Shift:
Will train on 1st shift for approximately 4 weeks before transitioning to 2nd
Final shift schedule to be determined post-training
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Laser Swiss CNC machines

Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency

Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders

Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily goals
Qualifications:
-
Prior experience operating Laser Swiss CNC machines required

Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts

Ability to train on 1st shift if hired for 2nd shift

Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
