Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate large CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, as well as turning centers.
Operate manual lathes and milling machines for precision machining.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Execute accurate job setups using detailed fixture plans.
Make minor program edits on CNC machines equipped with Fanuc controls.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Collaborate closely with team members, including programmers and supervisors, to maintain workflow and part quality.
Maintain a high level of productivity and take initiative to meet production goals and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8 years in CNC machining, with hands-on experience operating large machines in a job shop or heavy industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in setting up and operating large CNC machinery.
Experience with Fanuc and/or Sinumerik controls.
Strong working knowledge of GD&T.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Tools: Must supply own tools appropriate for machining work.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
Manual dexterity and precision required for handling complex machining tasks.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality are essential.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
