CNC Manufacturing Technician/Machinist – 2nd Shift

We are looking for a Machinist/Troubleshooter to join our team on 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12 Midnight). In this role, you will help set up, program, operate, troubleshoot and maintain CNC production machines like lathes, grinders, and mills.
What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and adjust machines based on blueprints and instructions. Study blueprints, layouts, or charts to visualize work sequences, dimensions, and tooling instructions.

  • Set up and operate a range of machines, including CNC machines, lathes, millers, drills, grinders, cutters, borers, and presses.

  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary corrections promptly and competently.

  • Align and position templates, controls, cams, or gears to adjust feed rates, angles, cutting speeds, and depths. Inspect finished products to ensure quality.

  • Choose tools and parts needed for production. Restart equipment after power outages or interruptions.

  • Help train new team members.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience needed, including your most recent position.

  • CNC Expertise: Hands-on experience with CNC machines. Programming experience a huge plus!

  • Technical Know-How: Capable of performing machine changeovers and adjustments with precision and efficiency on all machines.

  • Lubrication Knowledge: Understanding of coolant and cutting oils.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents. Strong math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and machine maintenance.

  • Experience with coolant and cutting oils is a plus.

Salary/Benefits: $26 - $28/hour (depending on experience) PLUS a shift differential of $1.50 to $2.50/hr.  Health insurance, 401k, PTO, holidays - and much more!
