We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering specifications. This full-time temp-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a stable, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, routers, etc.) per blueprints and technical specs.
Load raw materials and monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programming.
Maintain production logs and accurately report output and issues to supervisors.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and keep a clean, organized work area.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Familiarity with CNC controls, tooling, and setup procedures.
Strong ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools with precision.
Basic understanding of G-code and machining principles.
Attention to detail, quality-driven, and reliable.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage: $22.00 – $30.00, depending on experience
