Adecco is partnering with a well-established, family-owned precision manufacturing company in Billerica, MA to hire a CNC Mill - Lathe Machinist/Programmer. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4-day workweek!)
Pay: $28 – $40/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools, including multi-axis lathes.
Independently take metal from raw stock to finished part.
Interpret and work from customer drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Determine appropriate speeds, feeds, tooling, and machining sequences.
Make necessary adjustments and trial cuts to achieve required tolerances.
Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and CMMs.
Apply trigonometric formulas and shop math to layout and inspection tasks.
Operate and program with Fusion360 (preferred) or Mastercam (acceptable).
Perform general machining and finishing operations as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 5 years’ CNC machining and programming experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
Strong attention to detail and familiarity with modern machining practices and tooling.
Solid work ethic and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
