CNC Screw Machinist – Wallingford, CT (Temp-to-Perm)
Pay Rate: $35 - $45/hour (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Screw Machinist to join our team in Wallingford, CT. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC screw machining, with the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot machines to produce high-precision parts. Experience with STAR, Tsugami, and Citizen machines is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC screw machines to perform machining operations per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols to ensure accuracy.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and related equipment.
Run multiple machines efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Screw Machinist.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Proficiency in operating STAR, Tsugami, and Citizen machines.
Experience running multiple machines simultaneously.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Ability to safely operate power tools and other machining equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
