Immediate opening for 2nd and 3rd shift CNC Technicians 
CNC Technician:

  • Perform tasks related to the safe operation of a CNC machine in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility
  • Use production software systems to track products in the production process
  • Use quality measuring tools to verify product conformity (i.e. micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, microscope, video measuring equipment, and CMM)
  • Monitor process using quality tools to ensure conformance of products, including following work instructions, prints, and other documents
  • Maintain customer quality control records and charts
  • Learn process and product terminology
  • Follow scheduled maintenance plans for all equipment
  • Execute lockout/tag-out procedures as required
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Understand and comply with applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, ethics, safety, etc.)
  • Maintain records as required by QMS
  • Read and interpret blueprints to plan setup and operation of machines
  • Report all maintenance problems to supervisor for prompt attention
  • Report any safety issues to supervisor
  • Work with others as required in a team-based work environment
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
  • Follow daily production schedule to meet internal and external customer requirements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education (GED) preferred
  • One year of machining experience with exposure to CNC Swiss Screw machines and lathes strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret a detailed blueprint and can use measuring equipment independently
  • Ability to execute the components of a setup sheet
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
  • Ability to use a calculator with trig functions
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Candidates are required to regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, control, etc.  Requirements include close visual inspection, whether with the naked eye or aided with magnifying instruments such as a microscope. Must be able to lift up between 45 and 70 pounds on occasion. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, pull, and push. 
  • This job requires standing on your feet 100% of the time. 


Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
