Collections Specialist
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Collections Specialist role. This is a temporary position located in Eagan, MN, with a standard weekday schedule and competitive pay.
This position requires 5–7 years of experience in finance and/or customer service, with strong communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of collections procedures, be able to work independently, and manage time efficiently. If you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now!
Responsibilities for the Collections Specialist include but are not limited to:
Receive and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
Locate and monitor overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
Contact customers via phone or in person to discuss overdue payments and review terms.
Negotiate payment arrangements and establish repayment schedules when necessary.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for the credit department.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
5–7 years of financial or customer service experience.
Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company collection policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and collections-related software.

Pay Details: $26.34 per hour
