Adecco is currently seeking a Compressor Technician.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Location: Columbia SC 29201
Schedules: Monday to Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm
Contract: 3 months Assignment (potential to become T2H)
Start Date: August 12, 2025
Hours per Week: 40
Dress Code: Business Casual



We are seeking a Compressor Technician with a mechanical or light industrial background to join our production team. This role involves assembling and disassembling components using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

  • Assemble and disassemble compressor components using hand and power tools.

  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Clean, buff, and wash parts using solvents and parts washers.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization according to 5S standards.

  • Ensure production schedules are followed accurately.

  • Operate safely within Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines.

  • Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Turn off equipment when not in use.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a mechanical or industrial setting.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Skills:

    • Basic mechanical knowledge

    • Ability to use hand tools

    • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
