Construction Safety Support

 $30-$35/hr Depending on Experience

Opportunity for a Construction Safety Field Rep on a mega-project in the leading global provider of hyper-pure polysilicon.  Potential for continued support on future growth projects.


 
Responsibilities for the Construction Safety Support include but are not limited to: 

  • Support and consult on Construction and General Industry OSHA regulations and ensuring site Safety standards are adhered to.

  • Lead and participate in communication methods such as safety stand-downs, safety meetings, and tailgate discussions.

  • Participate in pre-work planning sessions to ensure safety requirements are clear and accounted for.

  • Daily participation in work site safety audits measuring compliance with safety expectations.

  • Conduct task/job specific safety reviews in collaboration with the project management team, production team, and contractors performing work.

  • Provide safety performance updates and metrics to construction management team. 

Candidate must meet the following requirements to be considered:  

  • OSHA Training / Certification: A deep understanding of OSHA / MIOSHA regulations for both Construction and General Industry.

  • Proven Experience in Construction Safety: 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry. A proven track record of successfully leading safety initiatives, conducting audits, and implementing / enforcing safety protocols in construction settings.

  • Strong communication and influential leadership Skills: Effective communication in leading safety meetings, conducting audits, and collaborating with project and production teams. Leadership skills necessary to drive safety culture and ensure compliance.

  • Analytical and Reporting Abilities: The capability to collaborate on communication of safety performance metrics, identify trends, and generate comprehensive reports for the construction management team. Experience in providing actionable insights based on safety data is highly desirable.

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field and/or experience in a trade.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
