Position Overview:
Our client. is seeking a skilled Copper Bus Bar / EHRT Operator to join their team in a fast-paced job shop environment. This temp-to-perm, full-time position involves operating multi-station punch machines, fabricating copper bus bars, and performing various machining and inspection tasks. They are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in machining or general fabrication, ideally with a background in precision metal products manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Operate multi-station punch machines for copper bus bar fabrication.
Create and edit programs using Fanuc, G-code, and other necessary software.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Perform deburring, drilling, and tapping of copper bus bar materials.
Inspect materials for quality using handheld tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
Ensure adherence to all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Maintain familiarity with ISO standards and quality control procedures.
Prioritize and manage job functions in a dynamic and busy environment.
Support all aspects of copper bus bar operations, assisting in other departments as needed.
Perform general shop duties, including using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of on-the-job machinist and/or general fabrication experience.
Background in the manufacture of precision metal products; copper bus bar experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with Fanuc programming, G-code, and machining processes.
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Solid understanding of material inspection procedures and standards.
Experience with handheld inspection tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
Proficiency with computer systems and related software.
Forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Ability to bend, twist, stand, stoop, sit, walk, and reach overhead.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position in a shop environment.

Additional Information:
Wage: $22.00/hr (minimum, negotiable based on experience and fit).
Full-time status available after meeting qualifications.
2 paid 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid meal period.
