Job Title: Customer Service Representative I
Location: Suffolk, VA
Shift: 10:00 AM to approximately 6:30–7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (Sunday off; second weekday off TBD)
Pay Rate: $16/per hour


Job Description:
Adecco is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join our team supporting our client in Suffolk, VA. In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, business partners, and drivers to ensure delivery expectations are met and exceeded.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency

  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints calmly and effectively

  • Monitor delivery progress and support route team performance

  • Prepare folders for Proof of Delivery (PODs) and manifests for next-day routes

  • Process updates, changes, or cancellations on delivery orders

  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on open items


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of related experience, preferably in a call center or dispatch environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
