Job Title: Customer Service Representative I
Location: Suffolk, VA
Shift: 10:00 AM to approximately 6:30–7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday (Sunday off; second weekday off TBD)
Pay Rate: $16/per hour
Job Description:
Adecco is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join our team supporting our client in Suffolk, VA. In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, business partners, and drivers to ensure delivery expectations are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency
Resolve customer concerns and complaints calmly and effectively
Monitor delivery progress and support route team performance
Prepare folders for Proof of Delivery (PODs) and manifests for next-day routes
Process updates, changes, or cancellations on delivery orders
Maintain accurate records and follow up on open items

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of related experience, preferably in a call center or dispatch environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
