PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position is one of the front line ambassadors for establishing and maintaining personal and professional relationships with potential and existing customers.
Responsible for facilitating the servicing of customers and input of customer, services and product information into the E2 job shop computer system.
Serves as a receptionist for shop visitors and phone callers and directs to appropriate company staff. Assists customers in clarifying their service and product needs.
Facilitates assistance to customers by obtaining appropriate input or help from shop staff. Inputs new customer information into the E2 master customer profile. Inputs quoting information and generates “real time” quotes for requested services and products.
Forwards quote requests at a certain dollar level to Sales department for processing. Inputs inventory information into E2 to ensure the maintenance of an accurate inventory count at all times. Generates a wide variety of reports available via E2.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

_ RECEPTIONIST & CUSTOMER SERVICING
1. Greet customers and make appropriate referral to shop/company staff as needed.
2. Assist customers in defining their service and product needs. Involve appropriate shop staff in helping customers define their needs.
3. Answer telephone calls (as backup) and direct calls to appropriate shop/company resource or take message and deliver to recipient in a timely manner.
4. Handle general telephone inquiries for information when appropriate (as backup).
5. Provide general clerical assistance to shop/company staff as requested (filing, faxing, copying, etc.).
_ E2 DATA INPUT
1. Data input general information for all new and existing customers into the E2 master customer profile.
2. Enter service and product data into the E2 quoting module and generate “real time” quote.
3. Fax quote requests of greater than $5,000 to Sales department for follow-up.
4. Enter baseline inventory count into E2 inventory module and spot checks accuracy of inventory information. Report and/or adjust discrepancies.
5. Generate standard and special reports available via E2 system as requested by authorized company staff.
6. Advise Plant Manager of technical issues regarding E2 program operations and assist in resolving these.
