Weekend Warehouse Associate
We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Associate to join our weekend team! You'll play a vital role in ensuring freight moves efficiently, working alongside a supportive management team that understands the transportation industry.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for all employees and customer traffic.
Perform all work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
Take check calls from drivers, ensuring on-time load deliveries and validating all load data for accounting purposes.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Shift & Compensation
What You'll Need to Excel
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.
Capability to load and unload trucks.
It'd Be Great If You Also Have:
Forklift skills are a plus!
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes.
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
Experience loading and unloading trailers.
Experience using handheld scanners.
The ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions (written, verbal, or diagram).

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
