TITLE: Laboratory Technician
LOCATION: Glenwood
SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
PAY: $17/hr
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Laboratory Technician in Glenwood, IL. These Laboratory Technician jobs are temp to hire opportunities! Laboratory Technician will operate an optical microscope to examine samples and record findings as well as operate and record results for machinery that performs analysis within a Laboratory environment. Responsibilities for Laboratory Technician jobs include but are not limited to:
- Ability to operate optical microscope and identify visible features on sample.
- Operate machinery that conducts and produces analysis for radiation detecting dosimeters.
- Review machine generated data to validate analytic results.
- Execute standard work including routine machine operation, calibration, quality control,
housekeeping, and record keeping.
- Identify, evaluate, and correct anomalies in laboratory activities, and implement preventative measures to eliminate reoccurrence of anomalies.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Laboratory Technician jobs:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Required to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and files.
- No dosimetry or laboratory experience required, on-the-job training is provided
- Experience with various office software programs (e.g., word processing and spreadsheets).
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend applicable written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to work overtime.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
