Adecco Staffing is seeking a skilled Design Drafter to join our team. Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the Design Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD software. The successful candidate will play a vital role in translating project specifications and design concepts into accurate drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate and update detailed technical drawings incorporating project specifications and input from customers, drafting manager, and shop personnel.
Develop a strong understanding of spatial and mechanical relationships to research and develop component details.
Proactively resolve design problems with a positive attitude.
Adhere to company drawing standards and maintain a good understanding of document control during drawing creation and revisions.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or CAD Certificate.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (excluding education time).
Prior experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preference given to candidates with drafting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Adaptability, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work within changing priorities.
