Job Title: Diesel Mechanic / Maintenance
Location: Wallingford, CT
Pay Rate: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Shift: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with overtime as needed
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Wallingford, CT. The ideal candidate will provide maintenance and repair support for a variety of diesel vehicles and heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to quality work.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and perform technical service on vehicles and equipment

Conduct electrical and diagnostic evaluations

Complete maintenance tasks including electrical, hydraulic, and engine repairs

Perform scheduled services on drivetrains

Maintain accurate service records

Assist with welding and fabrication (experience a plus but not required)
Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair

Prior work as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician (minimum 4 years preferred)

Strong mechanical aptitude and positive attitude

Must provide personal hand tools

Completion of a diesel certificate program or equivalent hands-on experience required

English language proficiency required

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
