Our client, a leading manufacturer in the greater Duncan, SC area, is seeking Production Supervisors to join their operations team. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, just-in-time manufacturing environment. These roles are critical in driving safety, quality, and productivity while fostering a high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate production teams to meet performance and quality targets
Provide hands-on supervision including scheduling, assigning work, and coaching team members
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Implement lean manufacturing and 5S practices
Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve efficiency and readiness
Monitor production lines and identify areas for process improvement
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet production goals and resolve issues
Support HR-related functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compliance
Coordinate kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
3+ years in a production leadership role, ideally in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing setting
Familiarity with ISO 14001, OSHA, and TS16949
Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, PLM, and JIT principles
Excellent communication, decision-making, and team-building skills
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and lead through change

Pay Details: $66,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year
