Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a full-time, direct-hire position in Syracuse, NY. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a leadership role within a dynamic healthcare environment!
💰 Compensation:
The anticipated wage for this position is between $150,000 and $170,000/yr. Yearly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the entire nursing team to ensure exceptional patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to maintain high standards
• Manage the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employment of nursing staff
• Maintain adequate staffing levels and support ongoing professional development
• Monitor nursing staff conduct and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Stay informed of all incidents and assess residents' healthcare needs
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
✅ Qualifications:
• Current State RN license (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Proven leadership and supervision skills, with a commitment to quality care
