Job: Electrical Assembly Technician
Pay: $23-26/hour
Type: Full time 1st shift, temp to hire
Location: Hartland, WI
Position Overview:
As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling machines, equipment, and subassemblies according to assembly drawings, written instructions, and verbal specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Installation: Interpret drawings and specifications to complete electrical assemblies electrical wiring. Utilize hand and power tools to assemble components and install wiring systems.
- Electrical Systems: Follow wiring diagrams and guidelines to connect and route wires for electrical systems.
- Pneumatic Systems: Bend, route, and install flexible or rigid tubing for pneumatic systems based on schematic drawings.
- Measurement and Inspection: Measure components for proper fit and conduct inspections to ensure assembly quality.
- Problem Solving: Apply basic math and problem-solving skills to address and resolve assembly issues.
- Testing: Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products to ensure functionality.
Education and Experience:
- Required: 1+ year of relevant experience with electrical assembly
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related field.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Strong electrical assembly skills are essential. Ability to assembly circuit boards with soldering experience STRONGLY preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and troubleshoot efficiently.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment, including interfacing with other departments.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand up to 8 hours
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
