The Electro-Mechanical Assembler position includes a need for basic technical knowledge of general workmanship standards, manual dexterity, good eyesight, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks while assembling electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies under the general supervision of the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities :
• Read, understand & perform tasks per assembly drawings
• Be proficient in general workmanship standards
• Conform to all quality standards.
• Perform a variety of moderately complex electro-mechanical assembly operations requiring some degree of judgment.
• Use tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, crimpers, drills, soldering irons, precision measuring instruments, torque wrenches, and other hand tools.
• Interpret schematics, manufacturing aids, wiring lists and schedules and follow verbal and written instructions to assemble, re-work or re-assemble sub-assemblies and units.
• Perform routine and repetitive parts installation.
• Provide input in the creation or update of procedures.
• Determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of assemblies or subassemblies.
• Responsible for data accuracy and the quality of work produced.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Candidate should have experience reading blue prints and attending to detail.
• Individual should have the ability to work in a team-based environment.
Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Previous work experience as a mechanical assembler preferred and on the job training to be provided to attain competency.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour
