Job Title: Technician I – Electronics Testing
Location: Germantown, MD
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview:
Join a team at a cutting-edge electronics manufacturing facility in Germantown, MD! We are seeking a Technician I to support the testing and inspection of precision electronic components and systems. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to innovative, high-impact solutions in the transportation technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional tests on products at sub-assembly and final assembly levels
Use common test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal/function generators)
Inspect and troubleshoot electronic and electronically controlled pneumatic devices
Verify product revisions and documentation
Maintain accurate reports on test results
Follow all safety protocols and 5S workplace organization standards
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Adapt to process improvements and provide feedback as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience as a Test Technician
Basic understanding of mechanics and testing procedures
Familiarity with Windows OS (XP to 10)
Previous experience with electronics testing in a manufacturing setting
Experience using software such as HyperTerminal, Pro-comm, or Tera Term
Ability to read assembly drawings and follow test procedures accurately
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
