Adecco is hiring immediately for an Engineering Lab Technician with a local client in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is based upon experience from $42.00/hr. - $50.00/hr.
Duties:
· Understand basic DLT principle.
· Perform DLT system software alignment functions.
· Perform routine maintenance procedures.
· Responsible for all tools parts coordination.
· Coordinates with engineering on process evaluations. Sets up equipment for complex experiments.
· Perform routine tool tuning, routine recipe running on the tool, process monitor printing.
· Perform routine shut down procedure. Identify problem during tool down and call for service.
· Checks performance of process system and acts on making it compliant to best known method (BKM).
· Knowledgeably operates laboratory process equipment and instrumentation.
· Coordinate lab activities and priority setting, on and across shifts. Ensure team synergy.
· Orders equipment and supplies, and coordinates with vendors and purchasing. Coordinates instrument repair and maintenance.
· Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
· Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices.
· Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept.
· Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly.
Qualifications:
