Adecco is seeking an Envelope Sorter to work with a client in Rome, NY. This is a temporary position, paying $17-18/hour.
What You’ll Do:
Sort and bundle finished mail pieces by zip code and postal order
Transfer mail from high-speed inserter machines into mail trays
Ensure each tray is correctly tagged and labeled for its destination
Perform visual quality checks to ensure mail is sealed properly
Communicate with Inserter Operators to ensure counts and customer requests are accurate
Restock mailroom supplies and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
Strap, palletize, and shrink-wrap trays for final shipment
Apply correct postal placards and tags to each completed pallet
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
Comfortable handling and sorting large volumes of mail
Able to lift/move up to 30 lbs as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
High school diploma or GED required
Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
