Join Our Team as an Environmental Sampling Specialist!

As the uranium market grows, Adecco has partnered with an amazing company in Oshoto, WY.  They are poised to grow right along with it. They take a great measure of pride in staying true to company values. They also strive to set the standard for the industry in all aspects of conduct and operations.

Are you ready to dive into a role where your work truly impacts our planet? As an Environmental Sampling Specialist, you won’t just be collecting data – you’ll be a vital part of protecting and enhancing our environment. If you’re a hands-on individual who loves the outdoors, solving challenges, and making a difference, this is your calling.

What You’ll Do:

  • Sample Collection Expert: You’ll be collecting water and soil samples from monitor wells, ensuring environmental compliance, and providing critical data that fuels sustainability efforts.
  • Equipment Maestro: Operate essential tools like pH meters, ORP instruments, and temperature monitors with finesse. You’ll even tackle maintenance on equipment like generators, pump jacks, flow meters, and more.
  • Problem-Solving Pro: From troubleshooting instruments to minor repairs, your knack for fixing things keeps our systems running smoothly.
  • Safety Champion: Safety isn’t just a requirement here – it’s a commitment. You’ll perform safety inspections, keep detailed records, and ensure our operations exceed compliance standards.

What You Bring:

  • Environmental Know-How: You’re either skilled in or excited to learn about environmental sampling, water quality, and field equipment.
  • Mechanical Skills: Got a knack for working with your hands? Great! Whether it’s fixing equipment or learning new tools, you’re ready to jump in.
  • Team Player: You’ll work alongside contractors and other specialists to get the job done safely and efficiently.
  • Adaptable Attitude: From driving pickups and operating side-by-sides to braving the weather, you’re not fazed by anything the job throws at you.

This role is for the hands-on, self-sufficient problem-solver who thrives on working independently and tackling new challenges each day. Here’s what it takes to succeed:

Key Requirements:

  • Drive & Insurability: Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured by the company – because you’ll be on the move, getting the job done!
  • Independent Operator: You know how to keep things moving with minimal supervision while staying connected with your team.
  • Troubleshooting Whiz: From equipment malfunctions to unexpected obstacles, you’re the go-to person for quick fixes and creative solutions.
  • Environmental Know-How: Experience with sampling and maintaining essential field equipment like pumps, motors, and generators gives you an edge.
  • Math Made Easy: Comfortable with basic math? You’ll use your skills for calculations and ratios in the field.
  • Clear Communicator: Whether it’s reading instructions, writing reports, or keeping up with company protocols, your communication skills keep operations on track.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Word, Excel, and industrial operations software is essential – you’re as comfortable with technology as you are with tools.

Physical & Visual Abilities:

You’ll be on the move – standing, walking, and even getting hands-on with sampling. Lifting up to 50-100 lbs occasionally and managing routine 20 lb. loads means staying active and fit. Plus, your vision is key – you’ll need to spot fine details, gauge distances, and keep a sharp focus in the field.

Work Environment:

This is a job for those who thrive outdoors and don’t mind getting their hands dirty! You’ll experience diverse environments, from bustling job sites to quiet, rural landscapes. If you’re ready to embrace the elements and love a role that’s anything but “routine,” this is the perfect place to shine.

Bring your skills, your independence, and your passion – and let’s make an environmental impact together!

Join us in this dynamic role where every day is an adventure and every sample tells a story! If you’re committed to the environment and looking for a fulfilling career, apply today!
