Adecco is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Event Cashiers to join our client’s team for the upcoming convention in San Diego, CA. Event Cashiers will handle financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and assist with various event-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a passion for pop culture, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet attendees with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operations and attendee satisfaction.
Handle attendee inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Maintain knowledge of event details, pricing, and promotions.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for pop culture, and conventions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Proficiency in using POS (point of sale) systems and basic computer skills.

Hourly pay starts at $17.00+ DOE

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
