We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and help improve the lives of individuals in the Greater Rochester area. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to use a wide range of skills, from carpentry and electrical work to plumbing and home repairs. Work independently on projects, with the support of your team when needed, and contribute to maintaining safe, accessible homes for those with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform various maintenance and repair tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
Handle painting, home repairs, and lawn/yard maintenance.
Assist in creating accessible living environments for individuals with disabilities.
Install and repair appliances as needed.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and protocols.
Complete any other residential tasks that improve the quality of life for those served.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical skills with experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Ability to perform basic home repairs and maintenance tasks.
Valid driver’s license that complies with the motor vehicle record standards.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
High School diploma or GED required.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
