We seek a mechanically inclined individual willing to learn and work hard. Responsibilities:
? Must be collaborative and able to take instruction and learn from senior technicians and management.
? Troubleshoot, repair, and install all air compressors, air dryers, and filters.
? Advanced experience with rotary screw compressors, Sullair preferred.
? With advanced expertise with centrifugal compressors, Sullair is preferred.
? Read prints, wiring schematics, and diagrams for all equipment.
? Complete mechanical/electrical repair work as needed efficiently.
? Must be able to interface with customers with pride and professionalism.
? Overtime and the ability to travel with overnight stays may be required.
? Other responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications:
• Technical/vocational or high school diploma or GED required with three to six years of previous mechanical/service experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of various industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and or pneumatics.
• Sullair Stationary Level 2 training certification.
• Certifications and qualifications to service sub-brands (Boge, Elgi, FS-Curtis, Mattei).
• Ability to troubleshoot and service competitive brands.
• Advanced electricity knowledge or certification.
• A Level II Service Technician is assigned to a company service vehicle; therefore, a clean driving record is required.
• Sullair Advanced Microprocessor and VSD Certification.
• Sullair Air Treatment Certification
• Refrigeration basics a plus
• Desiccant basics a plus
• EPA Section 608 Certification

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Candidates must be able to perform duties without direct supervision and be self-directed.
• A set of basic maintenance tools is required.
• Organizational skills in parts inventory, truck inventory, and time management.
• All applicants will be required to submit a motor vehicle record.
• Overtime and the ability to travel with overnight stays may be required. • Must pass all required pre-employment screenings, which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit-for-duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings
• This position requires working in diverse conditions, including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms, exposed to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and the risk of electrical shock (high voltage) with NFPA or equivalent standards. BEC Field Service Technician Levels:
• BEC Service Technicians I, II, Senior, and Master depend on your experience, skills, knowledge, education, performance, and contribution. BEC Field Service Technician Level I is an entry-level position requiring close supervision. BEC Field Service Technician Level II and BEC Senior Field Service Technician require less supervision, enhanced skill set and training, and a solid understanding of the abovementioned responsibilities. BEC Master Field Service Technician operates at a high skill level with little supervision. Relocation assistance will be considered based on experience!! Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with one–hour lunch. Overtime may be required. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid holidays and vacations, short-term and long-term disability, and 401K. Compensation commensurate with experience – Level I Field Service Technician required. Two to Five years of Experience/Entry Level Starts at $30.00/Hr.
