Finance Manager (Healthcare/ Regulated)
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Finance Manager to join our health team in Washington DC!
Position Details:
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, with two schedule options:
- 8:00am-4:00pm
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Hybrid Role: Flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays; required in-office presence on Tuesday-Thursday.
- Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, invest in, and develop the staff accountant.
- Oversee and optimize the monthly financial close process and related business activities.
- Prepare segment and consolidated financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual) and provide actionable insights.
- Manage tax compliance and correspondence with taxing authorities.
- Support monthly payroll and maintain organized records; prepare and submit corporate tax and monthly statutory payments.
- Implement commercial ERP systems to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Supervise and assist with annual external audits and third-party audits.
- Develop a comprehensive internal control environment to mitigate risk.
- Manage complex accounting items, including Revenue Recognition, Lease Accounting, Intercompany, and Taxes.
- Provide treasury and cash management support.
- Lead and support budget preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or an equivalent degree with a record of strong academic achievement. CPA or other advanced degrees are highly preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance/controllership, preferably in a healthcare setting or regulated industry.
