Adecco Permanent Recruitment is looking for Fire Alarm Service Technicians (Level III). You will be leading complex service projects, complex fire alarm system programming, providing mentorship to junior technicians, and assuming a more autonomous role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee comprehensive inspections, advanced testing, and in-depth troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in fire alarm systems, including interconnected systems and networked fire alarm/mass notification systems.

  • Manage and maintain detailed records of service activities, including system analyses, recommendations for improvements, and redline drawings for as-built preparation.

  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance, training, and support in executing service tasks and ensuring quality service delivery.

  • Participate in project planning, system design, and implementation efforts to enhance fire alarm system functionality and compliance with NFPA 72 and other applicable codes.

  • Conduct site surveys for fire alarm system upgrades, develop bills of materials, labor projections, and schedules, and perform pre-testing and final acceptance testing with Fire Marshal.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, building owners, and managers to deliver seamless service, address system deficiencies, and optimize performance.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to uphold compliance and industry standards.

  • Perform complex programming of various types of fire alarm systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain system functionality.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality service delivery, and customer satisfaction in all service activities.

You have

  • Minimum of high school degree and seven years of related experience or two years technology degree and five years related experience.

  • NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level II or pass NICET II exam within 90 days of employment.

  • Ability to obtain US clearance.

  • Excellent attention to detail and professional work ethic.

  • Commitment to excellence and a high quality of work.

  • Knowledge of NFPA 72 and OSHA Requirements

  • Ability to function in a controlled, effective manner under stress.

  • Strong desire to continuously increase your skill set and take on more responsibility.

  • Excellent communication skills with customers, other field personnel, office staff and sub-contractors.

  • Excellent decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment AND random drug screening.

  • Must have valid driver's license, good driving records to operate a company-owned vehicle as part of this job requirement.

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to arrive on job sites which vary based on the customers' locations and schedules

Pay Details: $39.00 to $45.00 per hour
