Adecco is hiring a 1st shift Forklift Operator for a location in Lincoln, NE

What will you do?

The forklift operator performs a wide variety of tasks focused on receiving, warehousing, delivering, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventories as required to support the Lincoln plant.

Key Responsibilities:
·Operates material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip-sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.
·Ensures material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use in order to meet internal/external customer expectations including shipments of finished goods to the off-site Distribution Center.
·Load and unload trailers that are going between our off-site Distribution Center and main site.
·Check/verify, sign for inbound freight from suppliers, complete cleaning & labeling of materials. Assist in completion of receipts and shipments as needed.
·Deliver all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.
·Maintains material inventory quantity accuracy via physical counts & inventory management system transactions to maintain accurate inventory.
·Maintains material location accuracy via RF scanner.
·Check out, operate, troubleshoot, clean, and report issues pertaining to material handling equipment.
·Maintain training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines, and Safety Security & Environment guidelines.
·Maintain a high level of safety awareness. This includes participating in the ZAP program. Our behavior-based safety program to help identify potential risks in the workplace.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

2 years of forklift experience IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED - willing to train with the right attitude/strong safety mindset/attention to detail.
Stand up forklift experience preferred for loading/unloading trailers as well as storage in racking and bulk areas.



Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
