Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English and possess a solid understanding of HR practices and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
    • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide appropriate recommendations for resolution.
  3. HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data entry.
    • Process payroll changes, benefits enrollment, and other HR-related transactions.
  4. Compliance and Policy Implementation:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Coordinate employee training programs and professional development initiatives.
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with managers to address skills gaps.
  6. Performance Management:

    • Assist with performance appraisal processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
