We are recruiting a Human Resources Manager on behalf of a client in Essex County, New Jersey. This is full time, permanent position with an onsite work model.
Responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager include but not limited to:
Provide day-to-day HR support across payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
Partner with leadership to plan and implement organizational changes while ensuring confidentiality.
Maintain and update personnel records, including performance, disciplinary actions, and employee status changes.
Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and benefits enrollment.
Support recruiting efforts including posting job ads, reviewing applications, and maintaining applicant tracking.
Administer leave programs, workers’ comp, and return-to-work processes.
Process payroll changes and assist with payroll administration.
Assist with company-wide events, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
Respond to employee inquiries and offer thoughtful HR solutions.
Conduct exit interviews and coordinate termination procedures.
Stay informed on current HR best practices and compliance updates.
Qualifications include but not limited to:
Bilingual Spanish
3+ years of experience in Human Resources, including exposure to payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment.
Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Previous experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce is a plus.
Compensation:
Salary up to $90,000/year
