We are recruiting a Human Resources Manager on behalf of a client in Essex County, New Jersey. This is full time, permanent position with an onsite work model.

Responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager include but not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee relations.

  • Partner with leadership to plan and implement organizational changes while ensuring confidentiality.

  • Maintain and update personnel records, including performance, disciplinary actions, and employee status changes.

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and benefits enrollment.

  • Support recruiting efforts including posting job ads, reviewing applications, and maintaining applicant tracking.

  • Administer leave programs, workers’ comp, and return-to-work processes.

  • Process payroll changes and assist with payroll administration.

  • Assist with company-wide events, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and offer thoughtful HR solutions.

  • Conduct exit interviews and coordinate termination procedures.

  • Stay informed on current HR best practices and compliance updates.

Qualifications include but not limited to:

  • Bilingual Spanish

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, including exposure to payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment.

  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Previous experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary up to $90,000/year
