We are currently hiring Inventory Control Associates to support day-to-day inventory accuracy and compliance operations at a fast-paced distribution center. This role plays a critical part in verifying merchandise, reconciling inventory issues, and ensuring merchandise is processed efficiently for store distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare merchandise for further processing by staging, sorting, performing data entry, and correcting exception status.
Verify merchandise and ticket information against documentation and system records.
Conduct cycle counts and random audits for inventory discrepancies, including off-site locations.
Document and report any inventory discrepancies using the appropriate forms.
Assist with processing exception lines, such as UPS and shipping-related issues.
Ensure quality and shrink control by reviewing previous day’s inventory rollovers.
Requirements:
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods on concrete floors.
Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
Strong math and computer skills (Outlook, Word, Access).
Experience using RF guns or gladiators is a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
UID in Training program (UIDiT) completion or previous UID certification preferred.
PIT (Power Industrial Truck) certification required or must be willing to complete.
