One of our best clients is currently looking for a Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for their manufacturing operations in Hicksville, NY. The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for specifications and design of plant facilities as well as preventative maintenance for all equipment in the Production Facilities. They will be a Leader in areas of environmental factors, safety, quality as well as the long-term profitability of the facility.

This is a 2nd shift role- Monday through Friday from 1pm-9:30pm. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Accountability for all plant assets; responsible for controlling, tracking and reporting spending of the capital budget and the maintenance

• Analyzing and planning maintenance work force utilization, predictive/preventative maintenance, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency

• Providing technical advice on plant operations and improvements. Prepares engineering analysis of projects that includes preliminary design, detailed design, project cost analysis, life cycle cost analysis and equipment selection

Job Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in a related discipline strongly preferred. 

• 10+ years of hands-on plant maintenance/engineering/project engineering experience in manufacturing

• Programmable Logic Control, Distributive Process Controls Systems (DeltaV), HMI and Automation control systems

• AB RS Logix 5/500/5000, Control Logix, Powerflex drive, HMI/SCADA, IFix, ParcView and DeltaV Batch

• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated record of leadership, teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative

• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility and the company
