Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

Payrate: $24+ / HR - Based on experience
Position Summary:
Seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Inspector to join our team. In this role, you’ll learn to use precision measurement tools and perform a variety of routine inspections on manufactured components. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in quality inspection and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine mechanical inspections using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc.) to verify product quality
Conduct short sheet inspections and document findings accurately
Review inspection data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
Run basic CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs under the guidance of experienced team members
Utilize internal systems to access inspection sheets, complete documentation, and move material
Communicate inspection results and concerns to supervisors promptly
Generate clear and detailed Nonconforming Material Reports (NMRs)
Continuously seek ways to improve quality, accuracy, and efficiency in work processes
Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Support other quality-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Familiarity with general measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Basic blueprint reading skills
Understanding of machining processes
Some knowledge of part/component form, fit, and function
Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
