Job Title:                      Lead Mechanic 
Department:                Installation
Please note this job is mostly travel. You will receive a per diem of $420 a week for food. Hotels and transportation will be covered. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(This list is not all inclusive and is subject to change; other duties may be assigned.)
· Heavy power tool usage (Impact, Drill, Sawzall, Grinder, Band saw and Hammer Drill)
· Steel Erection experience
· Rigging/Crane safety and signals
· Scissor lift, Boom lift, Forklift and Telehandler Experience.
· Stick Welding experience.
· Fitting 18ga and 14ga bolted flange pipe.
· Ability to cut and shape angle iron for pipe supports.
· Identify, measure, and mark up key dimensions.
· General mechanical and safety knowledge for industry.
· Performs safety and housekeeping duties.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Project Manager
· Accurately completes required daily documentation and expenses.
•    Demonstrates ability to work well with others.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
·       This position requires travel throughout the United States.
·       This position will require the following: walking, sitting, kneeling, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects/tools/controls, using vibratory tools, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, talking, and hearing.
·       Due to contact with customers, this person must maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
· Reads and adheres to timelines to plan daily activities.
· Strong background in reading drawings and ability to install to specifications. 
· Leads and/or works with team members and customer contacts in the process of installing equipment.
· Provide status of ongoing projects through reporting
· Pipe Fitting knowledge.
· Heavy power tool usage (Impact, Drill, Sawzall, Grinder, Band saw and Hammer Drill)
· Steel Erection experience.
· Rigging/Crane safety and signals.
· Scissor lift, Boom lift, Forklift and Telehandler Experience. 
· Welding experience preferred. 
· Fitting 18ga and 14ga bolted flange pipe.
· Ability to cut and shape angle iron for pipe supports.
· Properly wears personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, boots with a safety toe, and hearing protection.
· Possesses personal hand tools.
· Performs work in a safe and efficient manner.
· Participates in all required training.
· Accurately completes required documentation.
· Demonstrates equipment to customer and provides training to the customer.
· Due to frequent contact with customers, the person in this position must maintain a professional appearance, good hygiene, and be courteous and respectful to all customer personnel and contractors.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· Possesses a valid driver’s license.
· A valid US Passport preferred but not required.
 

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
